3LW (short for "3 Little Women") is an American pop/R&B singing girl group that enjoyed a number of hits during the early 2000s. Its instauration members, Naturi Naughton (born May 20, 1984 in East Orange, New Jersey), Adrienne Bailon (born October 24, 1983 in Manhattan, New York), and Kiely Williams (born July 9, 1986 in Alexandria, Virginia), signed with Epic Records, with Kiely's mother Michele Williams serving when manager. Their foremost individual, "No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)", was discharged within early 2001. "No More" was the profits & was followed per 2nd lone, "Playas Gon' Play", & a class action's debut album, 3LW.

3LW spent a number 1 half of 2002 in the studio, recording an album tentatively titled Equivalent Game, Different System. A album & its designed lead only "Uh Oh" were presented to the label, world health organization felt it didn't use at times plenty urban radio appeal. A tracks from either Equivalent Game, Different System were leaked to the Internet in MP3 format, and Epic poem considered dropping a girls. a fan trend lines campaign for 3LW spread to the radio, & the work was retained on the label.

Recording the recently placed of tracks, 3LW returned around late summertime of 2002 using the P. Diddy-produced single "I Do (Wanna Get Close To You)", featuring Loon. The class action was placed to release its recently LP, A Girl Potty Mack, whenever Naturi Naughton announced that she was there is no elongated the member of the class action. Naughton alleged that the more ii girls & their manager forced her away from a class action & that she left in the aftermath of a heated food fight between her & Kiely Williams.

Williams & Adrienne Bailon continued as a duo, though however using the "3LW" title, leading to the click to jokingly refer to the babies when "2LW". When their late 2002 lone "Never Get Enuf" underperformed, auditions were held nationally for the freshly third member. Jessica Benson mass produced a cut & officially joined 3LW inside December.

Around fall 2003, 3LW departed from Epic, signing with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label. A class action's latest album, Phoenix Rising, was originally slated for release later on that equivalent season; a title has since changed to "Point Of No Return" & dollarfish retired Fall 2005. A lead lone from either this album is Rich Harrison produced "Do Ya" & leaked to radio station & a cyberspace in the go week of July.

Besides their cantabile act, 3LW hwhen appeared as guest stars in Christina Vidal's Nickelodeon show Taina and in the film A Cheetah Girls.
